Mahjong Elite is a free mahjong solitaire game for iPhone and iPad, made by an independent developer. It keeps the classic rules of mahjong solitaire, where you clear a layered board by matching identical free tiles, and adds a 4-slot collection tray: free tiles are tapped into the tray, and two identical tiles in the tray clear automatically. It is available on the App Store as "Mahjong Elite - Solitaire".

What makes it different
- A tile tray instead of two-tile selection. Tap free tiles one at a time into a 4-slot tray. Matching pairs clear from the tray; four unmatched tiles end the run. Read how the tray works.
- Special tiles introduced one at a time: face-down tiles, frozen tiles, chained tiles with a key, countdown bombs, and timed HARD levels every ten levels. See the special tiles guide.
- Solvable boards. Every level is built from a winning order of moves, so a solution always exists.
- Large, high-contrast tiles designed for one-handed portrait play on iPhone and widescreen play on iPad.
- Daily reasons to return: daily rewards and streaks, missions, a weekly leaderboard that resets every Monday, and Treasure Dive, a chest that fills with coins as you clear new levels.

How it is free
Mahjong Elite is free to download and play. It shows ads from Google AdMob at natural breaks, and optional rewarded ads give in-game rewards such as energy.
